Financial Assistance Resources
The programs listed below may be able to help cover the cost of CNA, CNA Plus, and/or CBRF training if you meet their eligibility requirements. Since we are not directly involved with these programs, we encourage you to contact them directly with any questions or for more detailed information.
Please Note: We would love to have you join us at Health Heroes Academy, but these funding resources may allow you to use their assistance at other approved training sites as well. Our goal is to share these opportunities to support your journey into healthcare. If you know of additional programs that should be listed here, please email us so we can include them.
Funding Option: WIOA Youth
Open to out-of-school youth ages 16–24.
Applicants must provide a high school diploma or verify their graduation/dropout date.

Funding Option: W-2 / FoodShare
Available to adults who currently qualify for W-2 services or are receiving FoodShare benefits.
Eligible participants may apply to receive funding for CNA, CNA Plus, or CBRF training.

Funding Option: Southeastern Works
(Covers CNA classes and more)
Southeastern Works offers support for training and career development, including assistance with job searches, work experience, and essential items such as gas cards, uniforms, shoes, and books. If you have already completed your CNA class but cannot afford the state exam fee, this program may also be able to help with that cost.
Eligibility: You must live in Walworth, Racine, or Kenosha County to qualify—no exceptions.
