General Requirements

Registration is for the enrolled participant only and cannot be transferred. Participants must complete all required instruction, skills, and testing to receive a completion credential.

Send cancellation and rescheduling requests to enroll@healthheroesmke.com. Include your name, course, class date, and requested change. Rescheduling requires written confirmation from the Academy.

CNA Program

Deposits are nonrefundable when a student cancels.

• Cancel at least 1 week before the program begins: Tuition paid will be refunded, minus the deposit ($100 Administration Fee)

• Cancel less than 72 hours before the program begins, fail to attend, or withdraw after the program starts: No refund.

• Dismissal for attendance, conduct, or academic violations: No refund.

• Rescheduling before the program begins requires Academy approval and an available seat.

• Approved classroom or lab make-up time costs $60 per hour, paid in advance. All attendance, make-up, and clinical requirements follow the CNA Attendance & Make-Up Policy.

• Re-enrollment after withdrawal, failure, or dismissal requires approval. Tuition and fees will be provided before registration.

CPR & CBRF Courses

Payments are nonrefundable when a participant cancels.

• Notify the Academy before class begins to reschedule one time, subject to availability.

• A credit equal to the amount paid may be used for the same course originally purchased.

• You must confirm a replacement class with the Academy within 30 days after the credit is issued. Unused credits expire and have no cash or refund value.

• No-call/no-shows or requests received at or after class begins: No refund, credit, or rescheduling.

• Missing or canceling the replacement class forfeits the credit.

· Course retakes after unsuccessful completion are separate from rescheduling. Any retake charges will be provided in advance.

Attendance

Arrive or log in on time. Late participants may be denied entry if required instruction has been missed. Contact the Academy before class begins if you expect to be late or absent. Rescheduling follows the applicable course policy above.

Nonregistered guests may not attend unless approved as part of an accommodation.

Self-Paced Online Courses

Online courses and access codes are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Rescheduling does not apply. Complete coursework within the designated access period.

For blended courses, these rules apply to the online portion; the instructor-led portion follows the applicable course policy.

Technology & Testing

For live online classes, participants must have a compatible device, reliable internet, and any required camera, microphone, and Zoom access. Test your setup before class and report problems promptly. Personal technical problems do not waive course requirements or automatically qualify for a refund or credit.

Participants must submit required documents and complete tests independently. Employers may help with registration and paperwork but may not complete tests for participants.

ADA & Accommodations

Health Heroes Academy does not discriminate against individuals with disabilities and provides reasonable accommodations. Contact the Academy as early as possible to discuss your needs.

In-person accommodations may include accessible seating, workspace adjustments, accessible materials, assistive technology, or testing accommodations. Online accommodation requests will also be reviewed individually.

Participants must meet essential course requirements with or without reasonable accommodation. Disability-related information will be kept confidential and shared only as needed to arrange support.

Emergencies

Documented medical or emergency exceptions may be considered individually and require written approval. Exceptions do not waive required training or testing. Disability accommodations are reviewed separately.

Classes Canceled by the Academy

If Health Heroes Academy cancels a class, participants may transfer to another available session at no additional charge or receive a full refund, including any deposit. This applies to all course
