CNA State Exam Information
You can download the most up-to-date CNA Candidate Exam Handbook here. This handbook contains essential details such as exam fees, required attire, items to bring, and more. Please review it carefully before your test day. Remember to bring:
A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID
Your TMU login information
Reserving Your Exam Date
For students of our program, specific exam dates are reserved so both the written/oral and skills portions can be completed on the same day at our location. To secure your spot, you must call Headmaster at (888) 401-0462.
⚠️ Important: If you try to register through the online system, you will not be able to schedule both test sections on the same day. Unclaimed seats are released to the public 48 hours prior to the exam date, so don’t wait too long to confirm your reservation. REQUEST FOR ADA ACCOMMODATION TESTING
State Testing FAQs
Q: What if I need to retake the exam?
A: Log into your TMU account, pay for the section(s) you need to retake, and choose a testing date.
Q: How much does the CNA state exam cost?
A:Full exam (written + skills): $131.25
Full exam (audio + skills): $136.25
Written knowledge only: $34
Audio knowledge only: $39
Skills portion only: $97.25
Q: I forgot my TMU password. What should I do?
A: Go to the TMU login page, click Sign On → Forgot Password, and enter your email address. A reset link will be sent to your inbox.
Q: What if I can’t log in, can’t register online, or need a different test date?
A: Our school does not manage the scheduling system. Please contact Headmaster directly at (888) 401-0462 for assistance.

Practice exams are a great way to prepare for the state test and build confidence. Several free and paid options are available:

CNA Registry
After successfully passing the Wisconsin Nurse Aide exam, your name will be added to the Wisconsin CNA Registry. To search for a listing, enter both the first and last name. If you encounter any issues, contact Headmaster at 888-401-0462.
