Continuing Education CBRF Course

Course Overview

We provide comprehensive CBRF training, including the four core state registry courses (Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid and Choking, and Medication Administration & Management), approved by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. For caregivers needing ongoing education, we offer a flexible Self-Study eLearning package that meets the 15-hour annual training requirement (DHS 83.25).

Topics include required areas such as Fire Safety, First Aid & Choking, Medication Administration, Resident Rights, and Standard Precautions, as well as additional training in:

  • Covid-19 Awareness

  • Food Safety

  • Workplace Violence Prevention

Program Format

  • Duration: Flexible and self paced

  • Format: Online Study Guide

  • Requirements:

    • Internet-connected device

    • Functioning camera (must remain on)

    • Microphone for active participation

  • Certification: Students earn a Continuing Education CBRF certification upon completion.

Continuing Education CBRF Admission Requirements:

  • You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you will need written permission from a parent or legal guardian to enroll.

  • You must have completed the CBRF Courses

  • A valid Driver’s License or State ID is required.

Tuition & Pricing

  • Continuing Education– $250

Payment Plans & Financial Assistance

While we do not offer internal payment plans, students may be eligible for outside assistance:

  • Employer Sponsorship – Many healthcare employers will pay for staff certification.

  • Educational Institutions – Some schools offer tuition assistance for certifications.

  • Wisconsin DVR (Division of Vocational Rehabilitation) – Individuals with disabilities may qualify for financial support. We are a recognized DVR provider.
